SUMMARY:MS Bike Ride
DESCRIPTION:A 102 mile ride that goes up above I-84 to\nBrookfield\, Roxbury\, and Southbury.  It’s a real technical challenge to\nprovide comms along the route – coverage last year involved two nets and a\ntemporary repeater.  This year we’re looking at adding DMR into the mix. \nPrior experience is NOT necessary.  We’ll give you whatever training you\nneed and where possible pair you up with a more experienced operator.  What\nis needed is a 25 or 50 watt mobile unit\, a mag mount antenna that you can\nmount on an event vehicle\, and a cigarette lighter adapter (or big battery\nfigure 8 or 12 Ah)*.  If you don’t have those\, we usually have spares that\nwe can lend.
